Bart has 28 years of experience as an accountant and has been ITAA certified since 2011. His career began in an accounting firm, after which he was chief accountant at Konvert Interim until 2007. He then worked as a company auditor for 11 years, conducting numerous audits.

After 2007, he founded a successful accounting firm with a partner. This grew from 1 to 4 employees, but after the unexpected death of his associate and a difficult period following surgery, his family took over the operation of the office.

Today, Bart is at a professional crossroads: he is considering whether to leave the company and freelance full-time or keep a core of regular clients and freelance part-time (2 days per week). With his in-depth knowledge of all accounting packages and his strategic as well as operational approach, Bart is looking for challenging assignments in which he supports companies with his expertise. He does not want a purely executive job such as booking invoices, but focuses on more complex files, optimizations and financial advice. Available for freelance assignments and collaborations - negotiable according to needs.
