Navitrans Logistics Software - (2004-2023)

In this software company, as Head of Accounting, I was the right-hand man to the CFO. The tasks mainly consisted of booking and processing purchase invoices, preparing and processing sales invoices and processing bank statements. I was also responsible for accounts payable payments both with Isabel for Belgian payments, with Nordea bank for Danish payments, with Sparkasse for German payments and with SEB bank for Lithuanian payments. Filing the monthly VAT and IC declarations were also part of the job. In addition, I did internal audits and preparation of figures for the Boards of Directors. In April 2020, in addition to accounting, I became responsible for HR. This consisted of preparing employment contracts, payroll administration and payroll processing for Belgian, Dutch, Danish and Lithuanian employees. I was assisted by local social secretariats. In addition, I worked together with a colleague to manage the vehicle fleet.

Sea-Invest is an international dry bulk, fruit and food terminal operator. The position of internal auditor involved investigating various accounting and HR related issues. In addition, I also helped to set up a coordination center. My job also consisted of preparing the figures of the various Boards of Directors for the different companies of the group.

In this accounting firm, my main duties consisted of booking and processing purchase and sales invoices, processing bank statements, preparing VAT returns and preparing balance sheets. This for customers from various sectors.

In this management company of my husband, I do the bookkeeping from A - Z up to and including the closing, filing of annual accounts and filing of the company tax return. I also prepare and handle tax and VAT audits.
