Freelance Administrative Clerk

Our client is a federation with about 200 members. They are looking for a third worker, a freelance administrative clerk who is willing and able to do a very varied range of tasks on 2 days/week.

Your duties:

  • contact suppliers and negotiate prices - members can then take advantage of those discounts + renew existing contracts
  • modifying and updating website: the website is a kind of online catalog for members where all information is listed
  • organizing an annual event: prospecting exhibitors, setting up exhibition stand, on-site coordination
  • Interview 1 member 4 times a year and make a report for the magazine + translate NL-FR and FR-NL
  • answering emails and questions from members
  • follow up payments and membership members
  • prospecting for advertisers for the winter and summer brochures
  • organization Board of Directors and General Assembly: create agenda, invitations + report

This is the profile of handson freelance administrative assistant we are looking for;

  • you are available 2 days a week from +- 1 July
  • you are bilingual NL-FR
  • you are handson, can switch quickly from one task to another
  • You are a good communicator, both to new and existing suppliers to negotiate and to members as in prospecting
  • you are good with the PC

This assignment is a long-term assignment for 2 days per week. There will be 1 office day (possibly on Tuesday as colleagues will also be present) and the other day can be worked from home. You will have 2 colleagues.
