As a Freelance Calculator at Hogerhuis, you play a crucial role in refining and streamlining our estimating process. You will bring your expertise to improve the way we work, provide accurate costing calculations and share your knowledge with our team. Your insights help us realize our projects more efficiently and effectively.
Your duties:
- Analyze existing estimating processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Preparation of detailed cost calculations for wood frame construction, wood windows and doors, and interior design projects.
- Elaborate clear and structured quotations based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Advise on the implementation of new tools and methods within the estimating process.
- Supervise and train the internal team to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.
Your profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Calculator in the construction industry, preferably in wood frame construction and/or wood windows, doors and interiors.
- You are independent and flexible.
- In-depth knowledge of estimating software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to implement strategic improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and a coaching attitude.
