Are you an experienced Compensation & Benefits (C&B) specialist with more than 7 years of experience, and looking for a freelance assignment in the heart of Brussels? Join our dynamic team and use your expertise to support and improve strategic C&B processes.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Payroll, C&B and Reporting Manager and be responsible for:

• Conduct market analysis to ensure that compensation packages are competitive against market standards.
• The Coordinating the annual salary review process.
• Management and administration of the employee benefit programs, such as enrollments, renewals and changes in benefit plans.
• Ensuring compliance with all C&B programs with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain C&B policies and procedures and ensure they are consistent with corporate goals and regulations.
• Management of job classifications, including making adjustments following performance reviews and organizational changes.

Your profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a C&B specialist.
• Expertise in flexible reward programs (cafeteria plan), including related regulations and implementation.
• Experience in setting up job classifications (Hays, Watson Wyatt or Mercer), including grading, job families and comparators.
• Proficient with HRIS and compensation management software.
• Bilingual Dutch/French, with a good knowledge of English.
• Experience with both white- and blue-collar employees.
• Proactive self-starter With strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to confidential information manage and effectively manage stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
