Freelance Notarial Clerk

Our client is a notary's office located in Flemish Brabant.

We are looking for a freelance notary public clerk.

These are your duties as a freelance notary public clerk:

• fully independent management of current files : sales, credits, donations, marriage contracts.
• As the person responsible for the file, you ensure that all formalities before and after the execution of the deed are correctly fulfilled.
• You are the confidant for all parties involved (besides the notary).
• you will have the opportunity, once fully operational, to expand your expertise with more complex files (liquidation-distribution, succession planning).
• You play an active role in improving our service to clients by creating and managing uniform deed models together with the lawyers.

This is the profile of freelance notary public we are looking for:

• You have a bachelor's degree in legal practice or are interested in legal work.
• Experience in notarial or other legal field is a big plus.
• You are fluent in current software (Microsoft Office) and are willing to learn new applications, e.g., Supermedical (Dataconsult).
• Furthermore, you have an open, friendly personality with attentiveness to the clientele which consists largely of fellow villagers.
• you are eager to learn and spontaneously share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues.

You may be able (by mutual agreement) to work from home occasionally.

Furthermore, they provide team activities (after-works, dinners and birthday drinks) to ensure the good atmosphere in the office. Once a year we also provide a real team building outside the office (at home and abroad)

The office is located in the center of Vilvoorde, 100 meters from the railway station, allowing easy access to Antwerp, Brussels, Mechelen and Leuven. Parking is also available for the employees of the office.
