Freelance Financial & Business Controller

Our client is a major player within automotive. For their headquarters in Antwerp, they are urgently looking for a freelance Financial & Business Controller.

Your duties as a freelance Controller:

• In your role as Controller, you will be responsible for all financial matters of the leasing labels that fall under the Leaseholding Belgium.
• Your duties are both financial and business related, i.e. you are a business partner working closely with both Finance and colleagues in the Sales and Operations departments.
• You are responsible for timely and detailed financial and operational reporting to the holding management (using reporting software and BI Tooling)
• You will be responsible for the monthly financial reporting and consolidation of the group in Belgium.
• You oversee operational and financial KPIs and make timely adjustments as needed.
• You analyze differences between actuals and budget figures, deviations are reported and discussed with Sales and Operations colleagues.
• Together with the other controllers, you will work on the further optimization of our processes and our internal controls in function of the strong growth.
• You look for synergies that we can create with other branches within the group.
• You are responsible for the optimal utilization of working capital (receivables, inventory and payables).
• Coordinate annual budget process and provide forecasts.
• Development of dashboards.
• You will work in consultation with the CFO and liaise with banks, auditors and governments.

Your profile as a freelance Controller:

• You have a higher business or finance degree, complemented by several years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on and communication strong.
• You are very ICT-minded and advanced in Excel.
• Experience with a larger ERP package is a definite plus.
