Our client is on standby 24/7 for urgent infrastructure issues. More than 120 workers are committed daily to solve technical issues quickly and efficiently. In order to further professionalize and digitize this operation, we are looking for a driven Freelance Project Manager to lead everything in the right direction.
Your role:
As a Freelance Project Manager, you are the lynchpin between customers, workers and IT. You will map existing processes, detect optimizations and take steps towards a more efficient approach. Concretely, you will:
- Participate in the development of an online platform or app where customers can track the status of their reported problems.
- Translate between the needs of customers/workers and the technical elaboration by IT.
- Coordinate and monitor the rollout of the online tool.
- Critically examine the operation of the on-call service and improve processes as needed.
- Going on site regularly to get a feel for the people and their ways.
- Thinking about ways to increase worker appreciation (e.g., gadgets, events...).
- Taking an active role in organizing the semi-annual thank you event.
Your profile:
- You have experience as a Project Manager, preferably within a technical or operational environment.
- You have solid IT knowledge and can interact fluently with developers.
- You are a strong communicator and a natural bridge builder.
- You work solution-oriented and enjoy taking the lead in change.
- You are flexible and do not mind working on the move from time to time.
- You are fluent in Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus.
