Our client, an established international player active in the design, production and maintenance of conveyor belts, is looking for a freelance HR Officer to support the HR Manager at the Kuurne site. This production company has more than 3000 employees worldwide, but the site in Kuurne has a close-knit team of about 30 colleagues - workers and white-collar employees - who together ensure a warm, family atmosphere. Think: Friday afternoon fries and a no-nonsense mentality.
You will support the current HR manager, who will focus on the upcoming merger of two sister companies. During her parental leave in July, you will take over temporarily and afterwards you will continue to work together. A proper handover is foreseen in June. If startup in June is not possible, a startup from August 1 will be considered.
Your responsibilities:
- Administrative support for payrolling (through Besox and Officient)
- Answering questions from employees
- Processing absences and illness
- Recruitment and selection support
- Daily HR administration
- Participate in project on time registration
- Manage and update personnel files: themed leave, workplace accidents, group insurance, internal shifts, etc.
Who are we looking for:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an HR officer and a good basic knowledge of social legislation
- You are hands-on, discreet, flexible and know how to get things done
- You think proactively about recruitment and HR processes
- You feel at home in a small-scale, family work environment where everyone knows and supports each other
Practical:
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Regime: 3/5th (days negotiable)
- Duration: Approximately 6 months, extension possible
- Location: On site in Kuurne - working in the office is the norm (and desire of the team!)
- Working hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Fridays until 4 p.m.
- No collective closure or bridge days - leave is free to be taken
- Rate negotiable, depending on experience but we are looking to high profile
