With more than 10 years of experience in regulatory projects both in insurance and banking, Laurence has acquired business knowledge and IT development know-how. She loves turning data into business value and acting as the bridge connecting business to IT. She has contributed to the development of life insurance actuarial tools in Solvency II context. More than a developer, Laurence has an extensive life insurance business and regulatory knowledge (Solvency II, risk and profitability metrics, liability data, P&L, cash-flows modelling, ...). She loves to analyze and make data talk, turning numbers and model results into business recommendations. In parallel to the insurance world, Laurence has also explored the banking world and has contributed to credit risk and ESG risk regulatory projects as business analyst, developer and project coordinator.

Laurence is a well rounded actuary who also has a lot of experience in risk and life insurance. She's spent a lot of years working in modelling and migration while being the bridge between the business and IT requirements. She's very thorough in her documentation as well as technical analysis of data; portfolio and results. She recently worked on an ESG project which broadened her experience into this new field of the environmental impact of mortgage loans. She prefers to work in a hybrid system. Laurence's forte lies in being very organised and prioritising tasks which has highly contributed to her stress resilience. She's an expert in SAS.
