Good intentions

reading time: 1min | #GiG Talks #GiGHOUSE | January 14, 2019 | Daan De Bock
First of all, our best wishes for 2019. Wishing you a happy, productive but above all a healthy year! With these winged words we all also invariably start every email or conversation the first working week of the new year. A new year full of good courage, innovative ideas and good intentions!

Good intentions that we often forget long ago on the typical blue monday. We fall into the same patterns, routines and stressful busy schedules. GiGHOUSE to the rescue. What follows are a limited number of good intentions (keeping up more than three is utopian anyway) that, provided the right resources are deployed, can survive at least until the summer vacations. You can thank us later 😉 :

  •  A vacation plans! Not just the destination and the company, but why not book a freelancer to take over your work for a while so you can really enjoy the vacation and return fully recharged? Win-win and admit it, booking and preparing for vacation in the least exciting month of the year will give you wings in no time!

  •  Proactively recruit before everyone gets too busy! January ... the typical month of budgets, stock counting and ... analysis of the number of vacancies to be filled!

  • Ever thought about a freelancer to do the latter together this month? A temporary HR strategist who can properly shape the open positions and mobilize the necessary channels to do so!

  •  A doomed but no less important one: move more! As a modern business, you want to stay on top of new trends, and 2019 is full of countless digital initiatives. Not sure yet how to use freelancers for your business? GIGHOUSE will be a partner/speaker at many freelance events. Hereby, you are warmly welcome to get acquainted, both with us, and with our freelancers at these networking events and thus achieve the designated number of steps (piece of cake right? Unless you stick to the networking bar for understandable reasons) Finally (and you don't need anyone but yourself for this), enjoy the little things, better too much than too little

Cheers! To your health!

Freelancers? No thank you! They are too expensive for our business!

February 6, 2024 #Money #utor #P Price

An analysis shows that freelancers' costs are comparable to those of permanent and temporary workers, making choosing expertise over contract form essential; GIGHOUSE advocates valuing flexible forms of employment and the use of independent experts.
