Hi, I would like to introduce myself: I am Evelien, 36 years old and a passionate people manager. After a career of 10 years as a manager at a large retailer (food), of which the last 5 years as HR Business Partner and Finance Director, the time was ripe to explore new horizons. In these 5 years HR was established and built as a new business unit. including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, L&D, evaluation interviews, various HR processes and procedures.... The post-corona era was strongly felt in retail and even faster switching was the message. It was HR's role to land the many change projects as part of a renewed vision and mission and to cultivate a growth mindset among management and employees. The combination of high seniority and strong unions did not make this story any easier, but after 5 years I can say that HR is on the map staat💪🏼. I have a background in Law (UGent) and General Management (Vlerick Business School) which allowed me to build a broad base. This, combined with my strong communication skills and years of experience in a general management role, make me the ideal candidate to quickly get to the bottom of your business and support it where necessary.
